Fee Schedule

In many instances I am willing to take an appellate case on a contingent fee basis, that is, you pay only a percentage of the amount ultimately recovered for my services. My contingent fees range from 10 to 20%. If you prefer an hourly fee, or if I am unable to work on a contingent fee basis, then I will charge $90 for each hour of time I devote to preparation of the appellate brief. I will travel to meet with you or trial counsel or to present oral arguments to the courts and charge nothing above actual expenses incurred (no travel time charges). Most cases require not less than 15 hours to properly present them to the Court of Appeals. Many cases require a lot more time.

For a consultation regarding your case, please contact me. None of my bills are "padded". I am both efficient and thorough. I treat my clients exactly the way I would want to be treated. If my research is not productive, you are not charged for the time involved. I have a complete law library at my disposal and will travel to Austin to research legislative history as necessary.
